If you were going Blind and/or Deaf, what would you watch before it happened?

Hypothetically, I meant you could do all of those things (talk to friends and family, watch home movies) and still get in a movie or two before the sense was shut off.

If I was God and I was making it happen to ya, that would be my kind gesture.

Of course, in real life, that probably wouldn't happen, but this is pretend.

You want to post like me?
I wouldn't waste one second watching movies in that scenario.

But hypothetically I think 'What Dreams May Come' is a good one.

I seem to be torn between Fantasia, for the lovely classical scores, and astounding imagery:

Or the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy, for the clanging swords, and gorgeous scenery, sets, costumes and elfin Bloom:

before it happened I want to see my mom.

i would prefer to watch the movie anak again, so that even though i cant see my family again i know that in the last minute they took care of me. and showed me they love me.

If I was going blind and/or deaf, and being that my priorities aren't ass-backwards, I wouldn't waste my time watching movies.

I'd be out lookin for a cure, damnit.

Or I'd go fishing.

If I was going blind, there are numerous other things I can think of I'd rather do besides watching movies... but since the question is what movies I would watch....

The General with Buster Keaton... City Lights with Charlie Chaplin... and Benny and Joon with Johnny Depp... because they all three make me feel good... then I think I'd like to watch The Lord of the Rings trilogy back to back because I've wanted to do that again for a while now but just haven't taken the time... and last, but certainly not least... I have to watch The Last of the Mohicans one more time...

i'm SUPER GOOD at Jewel karaoke
i'd watch movies with my boyfriend, cuddled. we laugh at all the same little stupid things in films that most people don't notice, like a stupid look an actor has on his face for a split second, or a persons tone of voice. i'd miss that the most.

I don't get it about Deaf? because you will still use a hearing-aid so you can hear. I would have no problem being deaf.

Blind?.....I have to see naked women before I go 2 blind.
Scientists consider to be deaf as the worst sense to lose. You'll feel too isolated.
But on topic: Before I went blind I would watch something with Stanley Kubrick. Deaf would be Profondo Rosso or some other Argento/Goblin-film, OR listen to a Tsjaikovskij-symphony.

I would imagine you'd feel even more isolated if you couldn't see anything. Neither would be a picnic, but sight is by far the most powerful sense in the world, at least to me. Wouldn't wish anybody to lose that sense.

But to stay on topic, I would probably watch my Top 10 films.

Hypothetical situation ('cause I love 'em): Let's say you found out that you were going blind or deaf or both at the same time!
If I were going blind, I'd go see a medical specialist instead of a movie. Deafness would probably be the result of going to too many movies the way theaters amp up the audio now--all those special effects explosions and gunfire booming in your ears.

Deafness generally would be no walk in the park, but I don't think it would have that much effect on watching films on DVD at home where you can get the written dialogue across the bottom of the screen. I often use it anyway to figure out what some actors are mumbling or saying with accents. Besides, there's a whole world of silent films to fall back on, many of which are much better than what's being released today.

If I were going to loose my sight I'd buy one bullet and a gun
If I were going to loose my hearing, I'd buy a razor
I really don't want to loose either one
