Your pick for best movie title of all time?

Naked Lunch.

I can think of two things wrong with this title.

Black Snake Moan
(what the heck is that supposed to mean)?

My guess would be unfit for public consumption, but if I were to hint, what it suggests to me is that which would be a popular title at a certain type of website or bookstore.

The Princess Bride

Raven73's Avatar
Boldly going.
Raiders of the Lost Ark
I like the sound of it, and it pretty much sums it up.

True Lies
A good paradox.

Tangled
I like that Disney didn't just go with Rapunzel (partially, I imagine, because it's difficult to spell) and put a few nice twists into the fairy tale. "tangled" can refer to several things: Rapunzel's hair, love, or the trouble that Flynn and Rapunzel get into together.

Real Steel
The title of course refers to the robots, but in a homophonous sense it says "real steal", referring to the boy.

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
A brilliant title the best Star Trek movie of all-time.
Khan: "I'll chase him 'round the moons of Nibia and 'round the Antares Maelstrom and 'round perdition's flames before I give him up."

Ben Hur, a short and to the point name that made little sense, but was completely rememberable....the 1959's one. Back when movies had sanctimony, casts of thousands, bugle choirs, chariot races and.....Jay Robinson. Unfortunately, I can't find Robinson on Youtube for Ben Hur.

In this one, The Silver Chalice summons up vague biblical associations, but the movie was really about Roman sordidness. And....it also has Jay Robinson. Since I can't find him as Calgula in Ben Hur, a clip from The Robe will work. Caligula chews every bit of scenery in sight in both The Robe and Ben Hur. His evil sneer is worth an Oscar, but we can tell the pastor that we came for the biblical instruction.

I lack "all" knowledge to decide that, but I could name a few I will glady watch over and over...

Possibly watched ±5 times is The Big Blue (1988). It was my first time seeming Jean Reno and I wished he always was this fun and cool guy. I prefer the French spoken version as it is more genuine to the French characters, yet leaves Rosanne Arquette speaking English, a contrast that makes her come off even cuter. The first 4 times I saw Reno escorted to the deep always made me cry. An act of "deep" friendship in a literal way LOL

Others I could watch many times are El Cuerpo (The Body) (2012), Coma (1978), Intouchables (The Intouchables) (2011), and for cheese: The Holiday (2006)

The Night they Raided Minsky's is up there. The contrast of something sinister with a name like "Minsky's" always makes me laugh.

The Bib-iest of Nickels
I don't know about my favorite movie title ever - but I do know that Edge of Tomorrow (awful title) is based on a book called All You Need is Kill (great title). So, there's that.

The Bib-iest of Nickels
Your Vice Is A Locked Room And Only I Have The Key
I love this cover artwork for that film.
