MTV Movie Awards - Gollum

I was scrolling around and happened upon the awards show right when they were presenting Best CGI Performance. Of course Gollum won, that's not surprising, but what followed was. Andy Serkis, who was Gollum, accepted the award quite graciously via satellite, when Gollum appeared and yanked the award out of Serkis’ hand, and proceeded to go off. Screaming obscenities and flipping off the MTV audience. Hearing Gollum yell, “Go f**k yourself”, is too much.

Did anybody else see the show, or more specifically, the Gollum segment?

Yeah, that was great… I was totally not expecting that… … Did you see the Reloaded bit? I missed most of it so I hope they show it again tonight...

The show was hilarious when Gollum came on, and especially when Eminem won his award the second time. Tears came to my eyes I was laughing that hard. I got mail, I got mail, I got mail, I got mail, da boom boom boom, now you go, lady.....I loved the opening sequence with the whole Reloaded thing....LOL...and Vince Vaughn-ass specialist...We all knew that Adrian Brody was going to kiss SOMEONE or be kissed, but did you notice he wasn't there with his mom??? Did anyone notice at the end when Keanu was announcing the winner and someone yelled "Wyld Stallion" that it looked like it bothered him??

During the re-runs I've only seen bits and parts of it......and my eyes...my eyes! Gahhhh! My memory of Adrien Brody being so suave and sexy are tarnished. When he came out with that t-shirt that looked too small for him and displayed those uber thin arms I did a double take. Lordy no....that sophistcated, regal man had chicken wings for arms.

He should have worn long sleeves....

all lotr acceptance speeches rock! did you see peter jackson recieve the award for best action sequence. did anyone see the empire awards cos he did similar acceptance speeches via satilite. i love that about the lotr lot- they alway try to do something funny and original.
