Rock of Ages
(2012)

in his words:

My ultimate guilty pleasure is Rock of Ages.

Simply put, the film is S**t. It is cliched and formulaic; is is a movie remake of a famous play that does not stay true to the source material by taking major liberties with the plot, changing characters, eliminating others; and to top it off it is a juke box musical.

So why do I like it? A lot of the songs are already guilty pleasures, and other renditions of the songs I actually like better then the original. Poison? Hate the band, but the movie's rendition "Looking for a good time" I actually enjoy. Gun and Roses? Can't stand Axl Rose, but I like it when Tom Cruise sings Paradise City. And despite all the flaws, the film just brings a smile to my face for some reason.

So with that in mind, Rock of Ages is my all time greatest guilty pleasure.
