13 Movies that feature a tearjerker scene (Post video)
1. The Champ (1979)
2. Kramer Vs Kramer (1979)
3. Gifted (SPOILER: 2017 movie)
4. Rocky (1976)
5. Titanic (1997)
6. Magnolia (1999)
The scene when Tom Cruise's character finally meets his estranged dying father, played by Jason Robards, whom he has held a grudge against for all his life for leaving him and his dying mother at a young age to be with other women is by far the most powerful acting performance Cruise has ever delivered in his entire career. It gets me all the time, especially since my father had passed due to a lengthy illness. Cruise was nominated for an Oscar for this performance, and the Academy messed up big time by giving it to Michael Caine instead.

It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!” ~ Rocky Balboa
