Adam. I'm sure most here will be familiar with aspergers syndrome? This site reminds me on this movie, funnily enough. The only difference there is no Rose Byne..pity.

I am burdened with glorious purpose

I have this thing for watching Sharpe episodes while on summer break. They are so special to me (I have all of them) and they make me veryyyyy happy. This is my favorite episode.

Sean Bean at his sexiest.

True, a good film.. But the similarities between "the road" are some wouldn't you say? The only downer for me about "the road" was the ending....my explanation? I've come up with many scenarios....bloody arty farty directors!

Yeah, see it was adapted from a novel and although I haven't read the book from what I've heard the film remains pretty close to the source material (at least in respect to the ending). So I think your scenario is wrong.

Perhaps it should have been a happy ending with everything wrapped up in a nice, neat, little package for you to feel good about? Is that the way things are in the world, whether it be contemporary or a post-apocalyptic fantasy?

Not that I'm a defender of the film, but it was decent enough. I give it

Like the fella says, in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."
