Neutral Milk Hotel and Bright Eyes

I love th Decemberists but I'm not really familiar with Neutral Milk Hotel, although I have heard of them. I'll have to check them out.

Just went to the concert and it was amazing. The Faint played before Bright Eyes and they were also incredible

Bright Eyes is kickass, and connor is a famous guy...

as for NMH... i would like them alot except for the singers vioce is kinda bizzare...

...there both pretty good though...

How are you complainng about Jeff Mangums voice when Connor oberst sounds like hes dying?

My friend is big into Bright Eyes, and I have a few CDs by them, and I like them. Lifted is my favorite by far. Oberst is a great lyricist, but I rarely listen to the CDs.

Neutral Milk Hotel is far superior. In The Aeroplane Over The Sea is fantastic.

And The Decemberists are good too, from the dozen or so songs I've heard from them.

I definetly agree that Neutral Milk Hotel is the best out of the three. I think that Jeff Mangum is probably the most respectable musician out there, seeing that he dosent drink or do drugs. I just found out that Jeff mangum is in the circus now playing guitar for the sideshow acts.
