Interesting, his love for Delores the dog was his undoing. Usually in film noir, it is a human woman who ends up runing/destroying the main character. And unlike most noir films, the main character was a bad guy from the beginning.

Rod Steiger was quite good in this and it is an interesting story. 7/10 is my rating.

he was good. i thought it was a bit too long and dragged. it was really good up to scarff death.
