Her son was accused of drug dealing in the estate and would not comply with the local paramilitaries' laws, so the mother was given an ultimatum; bring her son to them for a punishment shooting (usually in the knees), or if not, then they would act on it themselves and carry out a much more severe punishment. This is something that has been happening here for decades but there's been a huge rise in the attacks over the last few years. If you can somehow get hold of a copy, I highly recommend watching it.
