damn !! sweden should have got a penalty kick the way the germans pushed a swedish player when he got too close with the ball to their goal . but the referee didn't allow !! unfair....
Last gasp win for the holders makes the group interesting now. I might just have to flick back and forth between both final matches next week if both are available.
Well that was a cracker. I am thinking most other teams would go for the cross and play the percentage. But true German spirit and steel.
Germany is the most consistent team ever in the world cup. I guess it's because they are psychologically well prepared and they have very strong training, organization and work ethnic. Compare to Argentina which gets quickly emotional and the team collapses if they suffer a drawnback even though they have excellent players (the game with Croatia reminded me of Brazil and Germany in 2014 when Brazil also collapsed psychologically). Germany doesn't have any super exceptional players but they always play with maximum level of efficiency and never get seriously psychologically affected (if Brazil were losing 0-1 to Costa Rica I bet we would probably lose the match).
