My first concert was U2's Joshua Tree tour in 1987 Tampa, FL. It was the first, and only, time too I waited in line overnight for tickets.
Bishop Planetarium right off the Manatee river in Bradenton, and florida or not it was COLD. Damn cold! I had a blanket wrapped around me and huddled into myself like I had my own kangaroo pouch I could climb into.
I got there the day before they went on sale and their were a dozen or so people that were there before me. Some nuts had been out there a whole week, and made the newspaper.
After it turned dark alot of people arrived to wait, and even later in the night a group of about 3 dozen high schoolers arrived and went right to the front of the line thinking since a buddy or two was there that'd be cool.
Well morning came and it wasnt cool, and I dont mean the temperature. Everyone rushed the doors a half hour before the place was to open basically because those kids showed up enforce and skipped everyone.
The planetarium employees arrived and said they wouldnt sell any tickets if there was a mob, and they meant it. Some big biker dude and myself (I'm big too) were selected to thin out the crowd, and let people in 5 at a time. In return me and that biker fellow got to buy our tickets first.

The concert was magnificent. Nobody can touch the energy a U2 concert delivers, and then they were in their prime.
This is the entire album, and the songs are in the same order as....
