What movie were you hyped to see, and then hated it after you saw it?

Thursday Is Best
ive always been a jurassic park fan but whe nthe 3rd one came out i disapointed me greatly. so yeah JP3.
and then the hulk, definitally
crouching tiger, hidden dragon

I didnt hate but thought it was very overated.

Fargo.I was looking forward to this very much. But it just didnt do it for me.

I was looking forward to 'Matrix: Re-loaded' and well was drastically dissapointed, and so in going to see Revolutions I didn't have any expectations and well wasn't dissapointed, but definately wasn't impressed either. 'Return of the King' did dissapoint me in some aspects, in others it just blew me away, part of this I contribute to the fact that i have in the past year become a purist (gasp!) or somewhat of, maybe a tiny bit of a purist.

I think I hated it before I saw it, a big minus for Eric.

I was hyped to see The Matrix Sequels but they both sucked. The first one was a awesome. The only thing I liked in Reloaded was the fight scene between Neo and 100 Agen Smiths. In Revolutions, they isn't any amazing parts. THe final fight scene was really bad and too unbelievable. Neo and Agent Smith shouldn't be able to fly!

Hey anything is possible in the Matrix

My biggest let downs were: Minority Report, The Ring, Haunted Mansion

Well I'll tell you one movie that at first I thought sucked but I liked..Bend it like Beckham. Some funny stuff in there.

Jason X -- Hyped up about it for three years... left the movie theatre wondering if I'd even care to buy the DVD (I did).

Same here. For me though, I got a workprint of Jason X about 1 - 1/2 or so years before it came out. I was anxious to see the final product and when I did, I wasn't that pleased.

I got talked into watching Bend It Like Beckham by my girlfriend.

I thought it sucked and then, I thought it sucked.

It was just another in an endless line of "parents don't understand" movies.

Seabisquit, the buzz for it was all positive, but the whole depression narration thing annoyed the hell out of me, and ruined it for me

Intolerable Cruelty, how can you go wrong with the Coen brothers, I thought it was going to be genius bases on the trailer, but it sucked hardcore, easily the worst Coen movie imo

My Big Fat Greek Wedding........I was so hyped about this movie and when I went to see it............it was great.........but I was expecting the comedy of the year............

The Hulk was pure comedic $hit

definitly halloween ressurection, i wasnt excpecting the best sequel out of all of them but at least something decent. They took out Michaels whole reason to kill, as they explianed in the 6th movie he has a curse where he has to kill his entire family and he completed that so why do they still make the movies.
another i sthe HULK which i dont even want to get into and Matrix 2 and 3 which was just a show of special effects and no real good story.

And National security, i am a big fan of Martin Lawrence. i think he was great in Bad boys but all National Security turned out to be was him complaining about people being racist to him even though they werent and not to mention the action sucked.
