07-10-14hey my Musical buddy... how do you rate the movie "Evita" as a musical?

07-01-14I found both versions listed on IMDB. The 1937 black and white version has a rating of 7.9, but the 1973 musical version only has a rating of 5.1, so I'm not too sure what to expect from it. (It wouldn't be the first time that I liked a movie with an average or below average rating.)
I think I found the 1973 musical version on YouTube, but it's in a bunch of small parts. I'll probably watch the first few parts to see if it's worth watching the whole movie. It looks like it has a very good cast, but I'm not sure how good most of those people are as singers. 07-01-14There are 2 versions of "Lost Horizon" .. one was made in 1937 (which is your black and white copy) but I grew up watching the 1973 version with Michael York, which is a musical but same film.
