When an evil doctor finds out Uncle Fester has been missing for 25 years, he introduces a fake Fester in an attempt to get the Addams family's money. Wednesday has some doubts about the new uncle Fester, but the fake uncle adapts very well to the strange family.

Until recently, I somehow managed to avoid watching either film based on 1960s sitcom The Addams Family, a collection of bizarre horror-trope individuals whose ostensible weirdness served as a comically subversive counter-point to other sitcom families of the era.

Based on comic strip characters by Charles Addams which then became a popular sitcom in the 1960's, this is the story of an eccentric family of characters living in a gothic house that puts Norman Bates' house to shame.
