Most of you will already be familiar with the concept of Survivor having participated in previous editions of the game here on Movie Forums, for those who haven’t, the structure is fairly consistent and straightforward: you must survive a series of knockout rounds, through a mixture of challenges and voting, and attempt to be the sole winner. Of course, with votes playing a key part, you’ll need to work together with others and make alliances in order to increase your chances of winning.

For this game the theme will be Election Year, in fitting with the current climates in both the USA and the UK, and the current attitude on the forum. The game will have a very political feel, I hope to see big characters, interesting team dynamics, surprising votes, and lots of other twists and turns.

Below is your first task, it’s a simple one, complete it and you’re officially in the game:

Task One – Create a character

You must submit a character name for yourself to use throughout the game. It is recommended that you incorporate a real life character involved in politics or the global stage, or someone you want to see transition into politics. I'll also accept fictional characters.

Once you’ve decided who you want your character to be, simply post the details in here, perhaps along with a photo and a small description if you want, and I’ll count that as your official sign up.

Yeah, this is absolutely the best theme to come around possibly EVER.

The idea, at least. The execution with everyone playing bizarre (Britney Spears) and fictitious presidents is very disappointing, however.

Hello y'all! It's the presidential candidate that none of y'all are voting for is the dark horse for the White House. In order to appear more real and down with the malicious meat eaters voters, MoFo Media hired me to commentate on this game that'll leave you friendless, sexless, and without a chance of ever gaining office again. Which is a good thing for me. :D

But tensions are already being riled up, with George Sexy issuing a statement against a candidate that may not even exist. With this level of animosity before the game has even commenced, I'm betting the funds of my presidential campaign (2 dollars and 75 cents) on several players announcing war with the likes of Switzerland and/or Andorra less than 24 hours in.

However, it is important to note that not all of the candidates have yet been announced. But since I showed up before these people, and I'm not even taking part, I'll be requesting my own private dressing room. I noticed that Hillary has a private one, just like with her e-mails, so I should as well!!

Moving on, I would go through each and every one of the contestants so far, but they're only paying me minimum wage so they can go **** themselves.

I'll be keeping y'all posted on the news when, and if, we receive it.

I knew a pro-wrestler named Bob Cook. He was what youd call a "jobber" in the business, worked back in the 80s early 90s and was in a few WWF, NWA, WCW shows. When a friend of mine started a small wrestling group here in Florida, Suncoast Pro-Wrestling now defunct, Bob doned the Masked Superstar gimmick, and was a bad guy. This seemingly shy quiet man that youd never see speaking to a crowd suddenly became the most outrageously hilarious heel out of nowhere. Once Bob put that mask on, he was On. The guy was a great worker, a super nice guy.

Maybe Rhys can find his inner Masked Superstar. :yup:

I do have to say the live action softcore anime does pass the time. To this point Ive gathered Ryuzaki has a crush on Light and Light is knowing but treating this outwardly with the disdain. Its like a subtitleless japanese version of Moonlighting.

I love that scene. Did the manga do it differently and if so how?

My favorite episodes are, along with the Naomi Misora episode, the first two because of how engaging everything was step up (with the boredom satire in the first episode and L's appearance in the next) Plunge (11) because

how we, the first viewing audience, have no idea how Kira is doing all of this until we are introduced to Misa Misa at the end who turns out to be a 2nd Kira with the eyes.

and Crazy (23) because it's the most action packed.

Ok, I've read all the pages! Now I would like to join, I'm thinking about my character, I was thinking in EviTat Peron since I'm argentinan (not that proud though) but I don't know or like politics so I don't know how to act like her.

I have another character, leader of a group of survivors, which would be an amazing character to play since I love it. But since I don't see so much support on the Death Note couple I am kind of refusing to play the fun role (I love your roles guy though, I love the anime, I would be Neir if this wouldn't be a survival Elections)

I mean if the point is that the rightful leader will survive, then I will play "him"

While I do absolutely love playing these games, this is yet another Survivor that I'm going to sit out. Being everyone's #1 target from the get-go makes the game this sick twisted version of fun/terrible. Throw in the fact that a few people will drop out and the fact that someone almost always takes everything way too personally, I'm just not into it right now. Also, no, I'm still not Wolfsbane or Mr.Sparkle. :)

I hardly have time to post on this site as it is, I would be useless to my team.

On a side note, an update of sorts for those who were apart of Latvaria; my buddy is doing pretty well. He's back at home, moving around. Seems like himself again.

Hello y'all, it's CiCi Stein here at the commencement of the much anticipated Survivor 6.

The contestants have been separated into two teams - Team Red and Team Blue - he couldn't use the colour green, because I'm pulling a Taylor Swift and trying to copyright the word for usage of my own party. And it's worked because we're just so influential like that.

But, the teams have to elect a President and Vice President in a matter of hours. Rumour has it that Topsy Spears is already plagiarising writing a new a single to rally around support entitled "Elect Me Baby One More Time" whilst the photogenic Cosmic Trudeau is, according to our source*, shooting an underwear ad to appeal to the younger electorate.

But is it too little, too late? Sources** have revealed to me that several candidates were busy private messaging last night. Were they stirring the pot? My producers say no, but I'm saying yes.

Meanwhile, myself and my fellow unemployed Greens hope that the users on invisible mode aren't using private e-mails to message their fellow contenders.
