I think that's the version I just watched, then, because when that monster robot killed that guy at the beginning, I thought, MY GOD... this looks like an exploitation movie. It reminded me of the uncut Toxic Avenger.

Are any of the Robocop sequels worth watching? Despite loving the original never actually seen any of the sequels. Same deal with Tremors.

Not really, but I like Robocop 2.

RoboCop 2 is pretty good for a sequel.

As HK said, it's not a patch on Verhoeven's original but it's worth a go. Weller returns as Robo in 2 as well.

Robo 3 is rubbish though, it's a bit like watching the Police Academy sequels... toned down for kids and has awful computer generated effects, and Weller doesn't play RoboCop in 3 either.
If anything, it's a bit like the sequels to Starship Troopers in tone.
