Plot: When you're the son of the world's most legendary superheroes The Commander (Kurt Russell) and Jetstream (Kelly Preston), there is only one school for you - Sky High, an elite high school that is entrusted with the responsibility of molding today's power-gifted students into tomorrow's superheroes. The problem is that Will Stronghold (Michael Angarano) is starting with no superpowers of his own and, worst of all, instead of joining the ranks of the "Hero" class, he finds himself relegated to being a "Sidekick."

Now he must somehow survive his freshman year while dealing with an overbearing gym coach (Bruce Campbell), a bully with super speed and an dangerous rebel with a grudge (and the ability to shoot fire from his hands)... not to mention the usual angst, parental expectations and girl problems that accompany teenage life. But when an evil villain threatens his family, friends and the very sanctity of Sky High, Will must use his newfound superpowers to save the day and prove himself a "Hero" worthy of the family tradition.

Kelly freaking Preston, holy crap man. I can't wait for this movie. Looks like it will be fun and contain a few laughs. If all else fails, I'll stare at Ms. Travolta for 2 hours.

LOL i thought u guys were talking about that Ryuhei Kitamura movie

I thought it was the movie based on the inconsistent comic by Tsutomu Takahashi (probably the Ryuhei Kitamura one already mentioned).

Just checked out the trailer on Apple -- looks great. looking forward to seeing this.

That's because most of them just aren't worth watching. Competent writers who know what to do with the material would change your mind, but right now, it's just a license race to make crappy films and to draw cheap revenue.

That's the kid who played Sid in Lords Of Dogtown. He was great.

I agree. I thought he was great. I think his name's Michael Angarano or something.

Anyway, this looks like a different kind of superhero movie. I mean, its more of a superheros in highschool sorta film rather than a superheros that have to save the world again film.

Could be fun. If nothing else, I'll take my little bro to see this.

Wow, really not much talk of this movie... Well, I just wanted to point out similarities to this movie and an earlier Disney channel movie called, Up, up and away. Which, upon recent research, will be shown on The Disney channel on March 19th & 20th. Basically, it was about the son of two superheroes who doesn't have powers of his own.

That's because it came out more than 3 years ago and is no longer up and coming.

Welcome to the human race...
Yeah, I felt the same way when I read the "movies that should be made" and everyone was saying how a Max Payne movie would be "the best action movie ever made".
