Bought a movie called 'All in the game' with Ray Winstone and Danny Dyer to add to my collection. Now putting aside my taste in films to one side,I later found out that this was listed as a TV movie..so,is it a proper movie?,indeed what constitutes a proper movie?.The obvious answer is 'one that has a theatrical release',but many films don't reach the cinema, going straight to DVD,and taking the aforementioned Danny Dyer as an example,I cannot believe that all his listed films made it to a theatrical release, and yet they are classed as movies and not TV work..I know it's not a big deal in the scheme of things, but I would like your views on this please.....
When is a movie,not a movie?.
TV stations or whoever owns them have the money to make movies. All you mentioned are movies but funded by different sources and therefore don't make it to the theater.
