Looking for Movies that push the limits.. Disturbing, Controversial...

Tools

If you like Kids, watch Bully, and I'll echo Jrs with Mum and Dad. Also try Inside, Frontiers, Ebola Syndrome, Feed, Seed, The August Underground trilogy, Subconcious Cruelty, Kidnapped, The Seasoning House, Deadgirl, Cannibal Ferox, Men Behind the Sun, Murder Set Pieces, and Life and Death of a Porno Gang.

Man Bites Dog is brilliant, dark, and a biting satire of the media. Be prepared to read subtitles though. But if you loved or liked Nightcrawler, it is a pretty cool companion piece.
That's a good film. Great recommendation

If u want quality disturbing movies david lynch s movies are the ones u need to watch.
1_mulhulland drive
2_blue velvet
3_lost highway and others all quality out of the ordinary controversial and mystery movies
Paul verhoeven s dutch outing The Fourth Man is one other recommendation.

I will add Eraserhead.

Speaking of Twilight... check the back catalogue of Uwe Boll and Neill Blomkamp...

They both push the limits of total sh*te.
Blomkamp is the Kubrick of his generation!

Remember when you were a baby and you smeared chocolate on your face and it looked like poo?

That's Neill Bumcamp.

Big second to Blue Velvet...can't believe I didn't think of that one.

Here's a website that MovieGal shared with me that features an encyclopedia of extreme movies: http://thelastexit.net/cinema/

And here's an excellent list I found on Letterboxd that contains 1000 disturbing, controversial films: http://letterboxd.com/artsambition/l...cking-bizarre/

Between those two links, you should find plenty to watch. I've got both pages bookmarked so I can use them as a resource.

cannibal holoucost

Wasnt that special. but they killed a live animal in the movie which is messed up.

First off the name of the film is just "Cannibal"... its a direct to video movie. Its about a real life cannibal, Armin Meiwes. Most people cant handle watching the film.

Another film that most cant handle watching is called "Niku daruma". A woman is sexually abused while they "mutilate" her to a "tumbling doll of flesh".

And there are the three films by Fred Vogel, "August Underground", "August Underground: Mordum" and "August Underground: Penance".

All dealing with torture and mutilations.

You better have strong stomach for these films.

Derek, you can do better than "Spring Breakers".... you of all people!
this is by far the worst movie I've seen of the decade even more bad than Devil's Due which was an abomination
