life been so crazy i haven’t made anything new in like a year, and i’m trying to get back in a groove. my dog has made it clear i can’t use a laptop in the house, so i went back to my phone. i’ve made some stuff. it all sounds like ass. lol

Workflow slowly coming together. 15-20 minutes in the morning. Finally don't feel like a lost puppy with this hardware. Mainly working on creating drum patterns right now.

Cool, spacey stuff! I like the nasty synth in the first clip...

oh yeah, i love that sound. it's first up on my list of beats to expand once i hit at least 30 good project ideas (so far i got 5 i like out of about 50). it needs some considerable tweaking, tho, to sharpen it up. some side-chaining should help give it some defintion. i have learned a lot over the last 2 weeks. almost too much to be honest. so many new things to try and never enough time.

plus, my dog is an ass and drools like Pavlov's dog when i pull the drum machine out

hey now. sorry I've mostly been MIA except for the random shouts. This is pretty awesome btw. i would expect to hear this in a remastered Chrono Trigger dungeon! That's weird, so cool. You better do more with that idea.

i appreciate you listening and giving feedback. it feels great to hear so many people tell me i make video game music. that is the dream/end goal. i certainly structure my stuff vertically more than horizontal, and that’s a common theme in video game music.

and yes, this one most definitely went on the list of beats to expand. i’m up to 5 now. averaging 1 for every 10 isn’t great, but it’s a lot of new stuff.*

i recently bought an upgrade from the summer of sound sale. i’ve gotten pretty comfortable with running Maschine in standalone mode, and the idea is i’ll just make my own loops and then arrange in them in Tracktion.

i got like 400gb of kits and instruments now. i will not want for anything new for a long while. i haven’t even scratched the surface

Was dorking with the chord track in Tracktion and testing some new producing tricks this morning (i.e. sending a track to a reverb bus mix with saturation/distortion).

Probably my favorite one so far. Great stuff!

Reminds me of old Autechre.
