I have no problem admitting that Atonement had me in pieces. Pure poetry put to screen.

I thought the pair of them played their roles well and they really share only a few scenes throughout the movie, but when the two are together there is a genuine energy between them that really got me to care for both their characters and the terrible predicament they were in.
