What else can I say about this film, the story was very well told, I legitimately didn't foresee plot developments, I wanted to know more about the world they were in, I wanted to know what happened to the characters, and I had an all around fun time with this movie.

As a result, Kubo proves a strong piece of work that does have the odd flaw (in fairness, it is quite distracting how a movie so deeply rooted in Japanese folklore has white people voicing the lead characters while relegating actors from Japanese backgrounds to playing a couple of supporting parts) ...
