Master director Lumet (currently 83 years old) makes a modern version of a Greek tragedy, involving an NYC family where everyone wishes they had done things completely differently from the way they did.

Director Sidney Lumet (Network; Serpico, 12 Angry Men)has managed the impossible and has mounted a surprisingly riveting drama thanks to superior acting from a hand-picked cast and Lumet's solid directorial hand.

Lumet directed one of my all time favorite films The Verdict, and once again shows how much of a professional film maker he is with this toned and nasty tale of desperation and values gone bad.
