In short, it ends up being only mildly satisfying as a movie about Nicolas Cage and mostly satisfying as an action movie as well as one that starts Nicolas Cage, especially compared to most of his output from the last decade.

Loved that every time Cage and Javi got in a tight spot, Javi would reference something from one of Cage's movies to get them out of it.

Javi is determined to have Cage star in a film based on a script that hes writing, a conceit that Cage goes along with because in discussing the movie, he can learn more about what Javi is up to.
