I have been unsatisfied with many animated feature films in the past few years (for the most part, but there are exceptions, of course..), but The Illusionist is the work of a director and animator who cares deeply about his characters.
Citizen Rules
Usually Norton is a powerhouse in his films but here he choose to play the illusionist as a very quiet, soft spoken and mysterious person.
The Illusionist has all of these things and more, but by no means should the films story be limited to the above items in which find themselves present within this film.
