It ends with the magician locking himself in 3 safes nested within each other?

I think David Copperfield and then girlfriend Cindy Brinkley Star?

But I Cant find reference any where ?

Do you mean the magician is like David Copperfield, and not actually him? Because if it's actually him you should be able to scan his IMDB page for any non-television performances. There aren't that many.

Sounds more likely this isn't a movie at all, though--just a trick you saw him perform on TV.
