I'm a little surprised that Win Win and Midnight in Paris didn't nab more noms. Actually, Win Win is the only film nominated I've seen. Sarah liked both Midnight in Paris and Take Shelter in addition to Win Win.

Love this time of year, all these great lists start popping up. Pretty happy that Tree of Life isn't nominated for anything here. Heard a lot of good things about 50/50. Looking forward to that. And Drive, of course.

I've seen all of the Best Picture nominees except for The Artist, which I'll catch this weekend. Take Shelter is one of my favorites this year, so glad to see it got plenty of recognition here, as the Academy will almost surely not give it any attention. I thought Martha Marcy May Marlene might get more here, though while it is a good movie, I'm quite happy if Take Shelter took some of its spots in the categories.

I like John C. Reilly and am glad Cedar Rapids, which I like, got at least one mention here, but frankly I thought he was even better in Terri, and it's a better, more interesting film, too.

Other than The Artist, the two nominated films here that I'm still most anxious to see are Natural Selection and Rampart.
