War of the Roses 1989

Of the films I've seen by Danny DeVito, War of the Roses was by far the best. I've seen the film several times and still enjoy its particular brand of black-comedy. There must be other die-hard fans of this film like me out there that think this work was a pioneer to so many other movies since, such as we would see from the Coen brothers.

Good shout out. A forgotten gem and arguably one of DeVito's best films (although I do think that Matilda is fantastic). I remember watching this when I was a kid and thinking it was part of the Romancing The Stone trilogy

Gonna add this to my list to get.
