Looking for a black&white movie

It's one of those mythology movies. There is a scene where a woman is about to hit a big golden snake statue with a hammer (it's sort of a bell).
In the hitting area there is picture of tree and a snake.

Any idea?? I think I remember the scene right.

You remember anything else? If it is black and white, it is very probably one of those cheapo Italian sword and sandals movies from the sixties as they were called and without more information impossible to identify.

This is the snake statue, and yes, the actors did wore sandals.
