Figure this deserved its own thread. I caught this on the festival circuit last month and think it's definitely a contender for the funniest movie I've seen all year, if not an outright winner. An outrageously brilliant homage to the blaxploitation genre that is funny whether you're familiar with the films it references or not.

According to the film's official website, it gets released in US theatres on October 16th.

There was a thread for this, but it's good to see another. I've been waiting for this since the last thread was created. In fact, apart from Whip It and Grey Gardens, this has been my most anticipated film of the year. Yeah, that's right. F'ck summer!

This seems to have been made by real film buffs for a change, as there is more astute parody here (in the trailer alone in fact) than in any other Blaxploitation comedy I have seen.
