help with movie title please

This was a B movie, in the early 80s I am sure, maybe the late 70s. It is about a young woman who wants to be a racecar driver, it is quite campy, she idolizes a popular racecar driver and that is realy about all I remember other than she does get a chance to drive the car. It was about the same time as that movie Just one of the guys I think.

Nope although that looks pretty good too. This one was a bit more second hand than that. No known names associated with it. The girl was dark headed and as i recall had one of those Barbra Streisand A Star is Born hair perms.

Found it, it is called Tomboy
