There is another film I had seen recently BUS (####) <---- some number I forgotten. It was about a hostage situation on a bus "somewhere" hahaha, meaning not a english speaking country. The drama built up quite well but I didn't get to see how it ended.

I believe Russ Meyer's Beneath the Valley of the Supervixen qualifies as being a cult film, and although it's not my favourite one, it's still quite funny and completely OTT.

I saw this horrifying and brilliant Oliver Stone movie last night called Salvador which, I think, might qualify as a cult movie. Blew my mind! It was about the death squads of El Salvador in the '80s--militant fascists sponsored by the Reagan administration. Absolutely riveting and horrifying from start to finish. James Woods played the lead character--a photojournalist named Richard Boyle. It also starred John Savage as another photojournalist and James Belushi as Woods' sidekick. The film was shot in Mexico and has a high-budget look and feel, though it was a low-budget movie. Highly recommended.

Would the Usual Suspects count? I just saw that movie yesterday and it totally blew me away. I've seen the ending scene parodied in two different movies. . .

Wrongfully Accused
Scary Movie

. . .but it was just as dramatic for me anyway, mainly because I had forgotten that that particular scene was in the movie. So if the Usual Suspects counts as a cult classic, than I hereby add it to my fav. list.
