Can I join the challenge? Since the 1st of August I've already watched at least a movie everyday and this would be good to do not let me stop!

Yes of course, list me what you've watched since august the 1st if possible or you can start from todays date?

25/08/2014 - Calender Girls

26/08/2014 - Vantage Point

Currently just started El Mariachi (1992) and already can tell I probably wont like this. But I may surprise myself.

I hope you end up liking El Mariachi. I used to really like that film, but I've not seen it in ages. I didn't like Desperado, though.

What about Desperado?
I only watched El Mariachi, because of Desperado and I liked Desperado more.

17th July 2014

American History X
(1998, 119 mins)

Tony Kaye

American History X is truly a masterpiece with a powerful, moving story lead by interesting; deep characters. I enjoyed this film a LOT. This film hit me like no other film has for quite a while and is amongst the greatest films I have ever watched. Beautiful.

I'm glad you loved this, it's definitely a masterpiece.

I will have to step out of this challenge, my viewing habits are a little too erratic. I reached July, that's not bad. Good luck everyone.
Well done on getting so far!

Ohhh, I'm sorry, I forgot that! :/

19th - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) (158 min.)
20th - Bourne Identity (2002) (119 min) / Punch Drunk Love (2002) (95 min)
21st - Bourne Supremacy (2004) (108 min.) / Munich (2005) (164 min)
22nd - Bourne Ultimatum (2007) (115 min) / Bourne Legacy (2012) (135 min)
23rd - Leon, the Professional (1994) (110 min) / El labirinto del Fauno (2006) (118 min)
24th - Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) (108 min) / Psycho (1960) (109 min)
25th - Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) (124 min) / Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) (136 min) / Jenseits der Stille (1996) (109 min)
26th - Boogie Nights (1997) (155 min) / Snatch (2000) (Rewatch) (104 min)
27th - Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) (107 min) / The Letter (2012) (92 min)

And yesterday, August 28th:

Damien: Omen II (1978) - 107 min.

A sequel of my favourite movie about the Antichrist! I didn't like it that much, it's much more predictable and less exciting and original than the first one. I will still watch the third just because I want to complete the trilogy, but nothing like the first one.

29/08/2014 - Cheap Thrills - 2013 (88 min)

A rich couple put 2 friends through a series of twisted dares to win huge sums of money.

It's a shocking and sick film about how far can you go for money... The acting is great and the psychology beneath it is impressive! Also, it has a touch of dark humour that makes it a really intense experience.

I was honestly suprised.

Young Frankenstein (1974) - 108 min.

Masterpiece... There's not a single modern comedy half this good! 10/10

Just a little bit younger !

Full Metal Jacket (1987) - 116 min.

Another great film by the man who does not know how to do non-genious movies! I don't think it's his best work (Barry Lyndon and The Clockwork Orange are still my favourites) but it is indeed spectacular!
