Dont know if anyone has mentioned Snatch yet, but thats a definite one.

I would have to agree with the most of you but one that I thought was really good and caught my attention was:

Memento- Basically because it started with the ending of the film and working in reverse order. I though film was a well done film and a unique way of putting it.

Oh, yeah, definately, yeah.
ok...

Memento - The blood going back into his head was cool. And it did set the rest of the movie.
Reservoir Dogs - "Lemme tell ya what Like a Virgin is about."
Gladiator - The war scene.
Desperado - When Steve Buscemi's character was telling the story
In Pulp Fiction after the "everybody be cool this is a robbery..." scene, when Vincent and Jules were talking about the Royales.

I agree with the Usual Suspects. I watched it again two nights ago (the second time I seen the film) and I was surprised at how many clues they give throughtout the movie that reveal who Kaiser Soze really was. His name of course being ONE of the biggest clue (the name is german and turkish I believe)

I would have to go with.

Reservoir Dogs-"Like a virgin is all about a girl who meets a guy with a big dick."
The Godfather-"Be my friend...Godfather"
Apocolypse Now-"The End"
Citizen Kane-"Rosebud"
A Clockwork Orange-"Alex introducing his 'droogs'"
Full Metal Jacket-"The haircut/Lee Ermey sequence"

The Lord of the Ring: Fellowship when they have the back story to the ring. Donnie Darko. Star Wars when they have a little background to the story scrolling up as the music plays, simple but good.

Yeah, although Moore's bond fighting jaws while falling from a plane at the start of Moonraker is my fave.

So many good movies, so little time.
I thought the battle scene opening up Gladiator ("Unleash Hell") was great but my favorite opening scene to set up the tone of a movie was from M (1931) with Peter Lorre.

Full Metal Jacket - I've always found the opening scene hilarious.

Pulp Fiction - I love it when the song, Miserlou, starts.
