42 - The Life of Jackie Robinson

Has anyone heard anything about this movie? I have just checked out the trailer today, and it seems like it could be interesting. Harrison Ford plays general manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Looks interesting, surprised Jackie hasn't had a biopic already done. From the trailer, to me, Harrison Ford was barely recognizable. He might get some awards love if it isn't to cartoonish. Maybe the fellow playing Jackie will get some awards love as well.

As far as my thoughts on the movie, I hope they do justice for Jackie Robinson this is one of the more important stories to tell in the sports world. I hope it doesn't fall into that campy, sappy usual slot sports movies fall in. I enjoy a good sports movie, but i'm always weary going into one of them.

Hoping for a great flick, expecting a so-so, run of the mill sports film.

**on a side note, that Jay-z song works extremely well in the trailer.
