Twister(1996)Rated PG-13 for intense depiction of very bad weather

Ghost In The Machine (1993)
Rated R for high-tech horror violence.

Free Willy 3 (1997)
Rated PG for thematic elements involving whale hunting, and for brief mild language.

Do any of you know any other movies that have funny rating reasons?

RIP www.moviejustice.com 2002-2010
Bambi - This movie should have definitely been rated X, I mean can you honestly name one other movie that has as much animated completey nude deers running around? This could have been a great cartoon porno.

The Ring - should have been rated R and then intensify the scenes instead of watering them down to get more money and bigger audiences.

General rule: if you're going to chastise someone for being unfunny, you must not do so in a way that is just as unfunny.

Better rule: Don't put up "general rules" for things like that.

Blue Crush is rated PG-13 for sexual content, teen partying, language and a fight. [teen partying? that's new]

Scooby-Doo 2 is rated PG for some scary action, rude humor and language. [scary action? Rude humor?]

Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation is Rated R for demented mayhem and torture, and for strong language. [mayhem is something parents don't want their children to see now?]

Powerpuff Girls Movie is rated PG for non-stop frentic animated action. ["frentic" little kindergarteners comicly beating up talking monkeys and etc. is worth a PG?]

Natural Born Killers is Rated R for extreme violence and graphic carnage, for shocking images, and for strong language and sexuality. [graphic carnage? shocking images? the MPAA doesn't know what's shocking to some people, but not others. that's plain wrong.]

The Dead Zone is rated R for a sexual reference. [just one sex joke grants this movie a R?]

Batman & Robin is rated PG-13 for stylized action/violence and some innuendos.[what's the difference between stylized violence and regular violence?]

I Capture the Castle is rated R for brief nudity.[this movie shouldn't be R just because of 2 seconds of boobs.]

Woody Allen's Everybody Says 'I Love You!' is rated R for one use of strong language.[One brief "motherf-cker" makes the film get an R? If anything it should only be PG-13. 'Scary Movie 3' had 1 1/2 "f-cks" and only got a PG-13.]

Addams Family Values is rated PG-13 for macabre humor. [Macabre?]

Family Plan is rated PG for suggestive pranks and mild language. [suggestive? 'suggestive' means implying something dirty like sex. Pranks contain sexual jokes now?]

Moby Dick is rated PG for mild language and for some intense whaling action/violence. [That's just looney..]

Little Indian, Big City is rated PG for crude language, adolescent sensuality and scenes of mild violence. [Get what I'm saying? "adolescent" sensuality? "crude" language?]

Baby's Day Out is rated PG for mild language and comic action [That's just retarded now.]

There's also some movie rated R just for "a scene of anger."
