So I just rewatched the original movie to catch up before the sequal comes out, and something caught my ear. It might've been talked about here before, but Tallahassee says "Six people left in the world and one of them is Bill f*cking Murray" when they meet him. Wichita, Little Rock, Columbus, Tallahassee, Bill Murray. Who is the sixth? Was this line just left in even though a scene with another survivor didn't make the final cut? Or is this meant to signify Tallahassee believing someone he cares about still lives and not being able to count them out from the ranks of the living? (Okay, this might be a bit too philosophical)
Overlooked scene in Zombieland
I just took it as a figure of speech. Not literal. Like "there were a million mosquitoes outside yesterday!"

Yeah, like saying "half a dozen" when it's really seven or something. That's how I took it, too.

You could argue it's the old lady who drops a piano on a zombie in the "zombie kill of the week" scene.
