"The vampire Django" . . .

I like your use of terminology there, SC!

As it happens, I have been too busy living it up in LA the last few weeks to post very much on the good ol' MoFo!

Just the other day, I was driving through Hollywood and Beverly Hills, checkin' out the scenery, walking along Santa Monica beach, generally having a good time. A week ago, I went ocean-swimming at Redondo Beach--awesome experience! Try it if you ever get the opportunity. A couple of nights ago I found myself in a party on Hollywood Blvd. surrounded by scantily clad women of all shapes and sizes!

Ah . . . life is a beach and I plan to swim in the waves!

Oh, yeah, it just occurred to me . . .

This is the "Movie Forums", isn't it? (It was, last time I checked!)

And here I am, just 30 minutes drive from Hollywood!

Funny, how life works out!

Were they, by any chance, made out of Legos?

Flesh and blood, my friend! Living, breathing babes, all very provocatively dressed! Ah . . . Hollywood!

I must add a qualifier, though. Considering that this is Hollywood, one must expect a small percentage of silicone in the women here, but I'm not one to complain!

I think this is about the fourth time you've posted this whole "going to LA/scantily-clad women" bit. Strangely, though, you deleted two of your posts on the matter almost right after posting them. Odd.

What's so strange about that, Yoda?

Maybe it's because I'm really stuck in a sewer in New Jersey, fantasizing about this whole LA, Hollywood deal, you might say?

Well, if you say so then it must be true, right? I mean, who am I to argue with the all-knowing Yoda, right?

Am I the only one who finds it interesting that Django constantly bemoans our greed-driven, evil consumer-run society, yet winds up in Los Angeles? As anyone who's been there knows, it's the center of the ****ing storm. It's a cesspool of dirty streets and gridlocked traffic and choking smog, with advertisements everywhere...perfect place to get back in touch with 'true' humanity, eh Django?

"Cesspool of dirty streets and gridlocked traffic and choking smog, with advertisements everywhere??!!"

Not so, mon ami! Personally, I think LA is a pretty cool place to be, mainly because of the climate and the beaches and, of course, the babes (goes without saying)! And, of course, Hollywood and Disneyland!

My own feelings about Los Angeles aside, this is what I'm talking about. You complain about how it's society's fault that true human values aren't important to people anymore, yet you take trips to Disneyland. Pull your head out of your ass, or stop being such a counterfeit.

Actually, I haven't taken any recent trips to Disneyland, mostly to the beach to do some ocean swimming and babe-scanning. All totally wholesome, natural and non-commercial! I also ate some great seafood at Redondo Beach a couple of weeks ago--fresh ocean catch! Awesome! And a week ago, my boss had a cook-out at his place--steak and shish-kebobs right of the grill! Again, very wholesome, natural and non-commercial! I think I'm staying true to my values, dude!

I'm not old, you're just 12.

Yeah, we get it. You keep talking about "The Babes" like way too much! Seriously, give it a rest. Is objectifying women a "True Human Value"? Or do you just want us all to think you're a super-stud? Cause nobody does, and you're just embarrasing yourself. Just be yourself, and maybe everyone wouldn't bash you so much.

I might say it. But I didn't.

Um, but you did say that "Disneyland and Hollywood" are two of the things you like so much about LA. This despite your rampant distaste for commercialism. Hey, why not go to the Super Bowl, too, and complete this trifecta of hypocriscy?

Apparently. And it seems there's no contradiction between him "having intimate relations with hundreds of gorgeous women" and his proclaimed Christianity.

I think I'll go ahead and state the obvious: our good friend Uday will say anything if he thinks it'll make people like him, be it politically, religiously, culturally, or sexually.

My life isn't written very well.
Allright. Allright guys. I can't believe I'm jumping to Django's defense here but there are alot of beautiful people in LA. You'd really have to see it to believe it. There's a rule-of-thumb when one is thinking of travelling to the southern west coast: don't come if you have severe self-esteem problems. And if your not accustomed to seeing this all at once, like perhaps Django, then I can see where he might be overwhelmed at the sight. It's like Sweden, everyone over there is beautiful. And we're not talking about the inside beauty--which I prefer--we're talking Calvin Klien, Victoria Secret, Playboy beautiful.

Of course it can be said that the commercialism you abhor is what makes these people so appetizing to look at in the first place.

Disneyland, eh? Are these babes Cinderella and Snow White?

I make such corny jokes, I know it.

I have to admit, I feel seriously bashed!

So, Yoda, you see Disneyland, Hollywood and the Super Bowl as constituting some sort of evil trinity of commercialism, do you? Personally, I think Disneyland is a pretty cool amusement park, Hollywood is what this movie forum is all about, and as for the Super Bowl--I have nothing against it! Personally, I prefer to hang out at the beach, swim in the ocean, check out the babes and indulge myself on some fresh seafood!

I admit, there would be a contradiction if I were a member of Jerry Falwell's church or Pat Robertson's church or Rush Limbaugh's church, i.e. the Church of the Burning Cross, but, thankfully, I am not!

Who cares! Like I said, I came to Southern California mainly for the beach! And the babes, of course! So whatever! I'm too busy having a good time to argue with you guys!

Funny, funny! Like I said, though, I haven't been to Disneyland so far, just the beach.
