I'm not religious, but I'd think it was a thing of some humbling value to see what a bother it was for Jesus to save everyone's soul.


Either that, or maybe the movie has value by making us question the blood lust that lays at the heart of a significant amount of religious fervor.


Basically, the Passion has multiple layers that one can appreciate it on, whether religiously or agnostically, and that alone makes it a pretty good movie to me.


It's also a wonderful snapshot into the blood soaked madness of Gibson's worldview. Which is also kinda fascinating.
