Not really up on my Cronenberg, but this one is still nagging at me a bit.

While this is going on there are a series of brutal murders by deformed mutant children.. The doctor was played by a noted square-jawed Brit actor. It was filmed in Ontario and Toronto, Canada. Post on hold.

No one knows this one. The square jawed actor is Oliver Reed. The film is The Brood.

Heartwarming tale of a boy and his pet flesh-eating zombie.

Zombie pics must be last on my genre list.

I might have guessed slashers.


This is a Canadian comedy. Perfectly captures the happy-go-lucky suburban life of the post-war '50s, only in this case it's the zombie war which has recently been won. Here, the zombies have been "domesticated", and are slaves in all but name. (Oh, and the pet zombie is the title character -- a stereotypical "pet" name.)

Slashers are a close second. It is not that film with a red haired zombie befriended by a boy? Otherwise I have not a clue.

Yes, I think you're getting warm. The name of the zombie (and of the movie) is a stereotypical dog name.
