A third opinion on John Ford's Tobacco Road. Though it might be just so bad, it's funny?
Yah, Dude has got to be one of the worst and most annoying characters i've seen in a film, him getting knocked out/his car being flipped was so satisfying. At least Gene Tierney was stunning, even before she cleaned up. Oddly i did find some of the touching moments worked which makes no sense since it was all surrounded by so much crazy stupidity. Think that shows he should have went for a serious commentary on poverty and the concept of "home" overall, but then i guess that would basically be The Grapes of Wrath and he made that the same year as Tobacco Road.

6 Days 7 Nights - David Schwimmer is just a really bad choice for a boyfriend. Too bad Rachel Green never learned what Robin did- better to crash a plane on a deserted island, and wind up with Harrison Ford.
