They had temporarily escaped the factories, the warehouses, the slaughterhouses, the car washes - they'd be back in captivity the next day but
now they were out - they were wild with freedom. They weren't thinking about the slavery of poverty. Or the slavery of welfare and food stamps. The rest of us would be all right until the poor learned how to make atom bombs in their basements.

Braveheart. I can see Holden, Piddzilla, and Henry rolling their eyes already.

Ohgoshohgoshohgoshohgosh, I don't know. Ah crap, this is really really hard. It's my favorite actor *Mel Gibson* vs. my favorite director *Steven Spielberg*. Ok fine, I'll vote for Braveheart also.

No, I'm not... BLAST!

If I had to pick one of these two it would have to be Braveheart.

Not the two films I would have considered in the finale though.

So many good movies, so little time.

Very tough. Braveheart is excellent, but I would think of it as a war movie. Yes, it is set during a war, but it seems foremost about one character and his battle. Maybe I'm too stuck in the 20th century and think of WWII as the quintessential image of war. But I'm going to have to give my vote for Saving Private Ryan, not saying its a better movie (it may be), but it is THE War movie.
