It saddens me to to say this film was pretty weak, the worst of the franchise (yes, worse than the 2nd one). I found it boring at most parts, it lacked the dynamics of previous films, both in action and dialogue. It looked as if it was put together quickly, cutting and pasting scenes from different movies; they didn't gel well. The dialogues, slow and long, at times went nowhere. The premise, though interesting in its essence, was confusing for the most part -- it needed a clearer explanation and execution. Hopefully the second part will pick up. Maybe it's time to call it quits after that one? And let's pray there are no reboots either.
PS: Don't get me wrong, I love Tom Cruise.
