It wasn't my intention to make you feel illiterate or foolish, so I apologize if I did (and it is rare that I apologize to someone for hurting their feelings, because it most often is intentional on my part). It is just a pet peeve of mine when people needlessly butcher words because they think it is a convenience. It just makes it harder for other people to read. It isn't just you who is guilty of this, tons of people on the internet are.
