He is first chopping the vegetables then cooking and then comparing plates
The chef sees ugly produce vegetables and instead of throwing it away he makes a meal out of them and they look the same as regular ones right after he cooks them
“Commercial also says same great nutrition Same great taste”
Then he compares a cooked meal on a plate with ugly vegetables and good vegetables and it comes out to be the exact same thing visually
