A movie title ?

hey everybody, ages ago I saw one movie, don't remember any actors and mostly anything just there was one guy whos wife died.If I remember correctly she died in car accident . Then at night he sat in his car and was driving to some other state I remember there was some greature who was following him I guess...I know it's nothing but maybe here is someone who knows what I'm talking about
