It's a (joking) reference to a line from Limp Bizkit's "Livin' It Up", although I see that he actually said 28 instead of 29. It's funny because he's clearly saying it to sound cool and badass but given what Fight Club is really like it comes across as misinformed at best.

EDIT: In case it wasn't clear, I do not think that Limp Bizkit is a good band.

On another note, one of my favorite lyrical songs is "Sieben" by the Pagan Folk band Faun from Germany. Yeah I listen to a lot of German music... for those out there who dont know.. "Sieben" is the german word for "7"
