Peter Townsend is has some explaining to do. Evidently child pornography was found on the hard drive of his computer. He says he was just doing research for a book about his life. Townsend alleges his grandmother is guilty of some sexual abuse toward him when he was a child.

Does this change your opinion of him? After all, research or not, he did have to look at the pics. I personally think it's disgusting. Not that I haven't looked at porn on the internet (one of the many benefits of the web), but child porn is disgusting. I haven't seen any children posing in any pictures I've looked at, but if your into it, it's out there.
In fact, the web sites I've looked at have links with topics like "barely legal" and "My first time". I mean if you click on something your not sure of, and it turns out to be a picture of a person who looks like a child, your in for the shock of your life!
Actually I believe more studies should be made of child porn on the web because I think, " Where do they get the "models"?"

I'm no pervert, or hedonistic schitzoid, but if the police were to look into my hard drive they would definitly find skin pictures.

I think Peter Townsend was just preparing for a role in a movie.
You know, that same one as Winona Ryder.

I heard that in the dead sea scrolls, another ten commandments were found (11-20) - number 13 is "You shall not eyeball child pornography".

I tend to agree.

The media don't know what to do with it and are waiting untill the police officially arrest him before massive hounding.

The fact that he PAID to get into that site makes him guilty even if he is researching for a book. He's still looked at the photos which is an offence and violation to the childrens privacy.

Porn can be erotic and tasteful...............but any porn including children is a violation and is a NO NO......!!

Poor old Pete Townsend........well he has certainly been in the media lately.......Firstly he squashes all rumours about his sexuality.......stating he is not gay......whilst being interview by Rolling Stone and secondly........in regard to the release of Kurt Cobains provocative "Journals"............he calls Kurt Cobain "a sicko" ....(well look whose talking).....

Narrrrrrrrrr...............sorry......I don't care who he is or how talented he is...... he has come down a peg or so in my book.......................I don't have a problem with anyones sexuality....but when it comes to violating children.......I have a problem with that........
