Home Media Retailing have confirmed that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release the film in two flavours on November 14, 2006: a 2-disc Special Edition and a Gift Set.
The 2-disc will retail at $29.96, and more than likely will be available in Widescreen and Full Screen. Interestingly, its packaging with feature hidden messages and phrases from the film, but are only viewable with a magnifying glass and/or black light.

The Gift Set will retail at $80.95 and will include an authentic working replica of a cryptex, which includes a clue inside of it giving the owner a chance to win a trip to Europe among other things. As well, after it is opened, it can be further customized by the user. It will also include a replica of Robert Langdon's journal, as seen in the film, featuring notes, symbols, codes and more.

Unfortunately, we do not have the full specs for the discs, but this is what Home Media Retailing had to say:

There are more than 90 minutes of extras shot in high-definition exclusively for the two-disc special edition release, including individual pieces on stars Tom Hanks and Audrey Tautou and author Dan Brown, a look at the locations and cities where the film was shot, interviews on how the cast felt working near the Mona Lisa, a two-part discussion with director Ron Howard on the challenges of bringing the book to the screen and more.
