A Clockwork Orange - one of THE most disturbing movies ever.

'Salem's Lot - that scene with the things scratching on the window *still* gives me the willies!

So many good movies, so little time.
American Me was pretty disturbing. Particularly some of the jail scenes.

Yeah the Ring (Remake) sucked big time, in my opinion. Basically because of all the false hype about it being the "scariest movie ever"

American Psycho

8MM severely disturbed me... there is many gritty truthful reflections in that movie about the porn industry.

Now I am gonna stray away from the tipical "Disturbing" films, because I don't get grossed out or freaked out by gore, blood and things of that nature, but here are the top films that made me mad and 'disturbed' me:

Mystic River
The Butterfly Effect(Director's Cut)
Taking Lives(About the Last 15 Minutes)

Probably Tipical:
The Ring(Freaked me out)
The Blair Witch 2:Book of Shadows

A Bit Disturbed:
Seven
Ginger Snaps 2:Unleashed

all for now...

My choices:

Passion of the Christ (film focused almost entirely on the graphic violence)

Larry clark films (Bully, Kids)

The Ring

Ringu

The Exorcist

Thirteen (semi-disturbing,)

House of 1000 Corpses

Ghost Ship (beginning sequence)

Final Destination 2 (horrific car crash scene)

The Cell

Crash (I'd say this one was pretty disturbing, considering it was about people who got sexually aroused by being injured in car crashes) YECH.

Any film by David Lynch

Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, you name it, and it disturbs my brain.

Eh I thought "A Clockwork Orange" was disturbing especially the scene where the guy kills the old lady with a artifact that looks like a penis (really made you think).

And this is my BOOMstick!
I think I've posted this before but has anyone seen "Ressurection?" It's about a crazy religious nut who cuts of people's limbs and then saws them all back up to make a "Jesus." The movie is ****ed up, when the scene came where you see the Jesus that he made, I swear if I didn't look away I'd had thrown up. It's a very good psychological thriller with Christopher Lambert in the lead role, I'd recommend it to anyone who liked Silence of the Lambs trilogy. Out of all the horror movies I've ever seen, this beats them all, and it's not even considered horror. Just very deep, dark and disturbing. Adivce: if you are going to rent it, don't watch it if you're about, or just had a meal.
